About The Author

My name is Holly and I have been blogging since 2009. My children and I began our homeschool journey in 2017 in the state of Pennsylvania (USA), they were entering grades 5 and 7 having been in public school prior. My goal for this blog was to inform others and be an encouragement and share what I learned on the way. I’m a Christian and therefore my blog reflected that as did my homeschool curriculum. I am not a lawyer, just a mom who likes researching and studying. Nothing on my blog is intended as legal advice. In May 2025 I graduated my last child and decided to refocus my blog but leave the valuable tips on homeschooling as well as documents needed in order to be in compliance with the Pennsylvania Home Education Law.

What is the purpose of my blog? To share, to disciple, to use my ability to honor the Lord. I would also hope that my words would be encouraging, perhaps comforting, and helpful. My mission really is to spread the Gospel, share any knowledge I possess, and maybe help someone who finds my posts. My goal is to post 1-2 days a week in what I’m calling a Bible journal. It’s my personal studies I have done or am doing reading the scripture. You don’t need to agree with anything I say, it’s okay for you to have a different opinion. My whole purpose is to share insight that perhaps would prompt you to deeper study of the scriptures whether that’s because you agree, disagree, or just aren’t sure. The ultimate goal is for you to build your relationship with Christ by getting to know him and the Father who sent him.

Thanks for visiting.

Galatians 2:20 says, “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
